Dinosaurs In The Form Of
Birds Still Rule The World
There are 7000 species of
extant birds and 4000 species of
extant mammals. Since there are many more species of living birds
than
mammals, and birds are
dinosaurs, dinosaurs still rule the world.
700 species of extinct dinosaurs are known as compared to 7000 species of living birds. Many new species of extinct dinosaurs will probably be discovered because birds form only one small clade of the dinosaur lineage. |
